    This 8 part video series shows you the build of a Homemade steam engine by taking apart an old F.E. Myers shallow water well pump.I built this steam engine to run an alternator to charge a battery bank. I don’t have a boiler built yet, but runs great on air.This is a¬†double acting piston,works like the Deming, just one cylinder instead of two.If you dont have this kind of a pump,you could use an old bulldozer water pump.Although the bulldozer is just a little bigger than this one, but that would be a perfect one to use.Great way to reuse scrap metal that build something useful out of it.
