Cool DIY Video : How to build a Propane heated, Water Cooled Stirling Engine emergency home power generator

This video shows the setup of a small stirling engine emergency home power generator. The engine runs on an old salvaged alternator. The magnet is a disk, magnetized across the diameter and on the surface. The crank shaft is 3/16″ diameter; a piece of precision ground drill rod I had available. The lever is a second class lever that increases the stroke from the one of its input. The input is from the crankshaft crank pin, and applied to the lever in its middle via a sliding block running in a slot. The top of the lever moves the displacer rod a greater distance than the throw of the crank pin.The original plan of the stirling engine is also added.
