This project goes over the build of a homemade wind generator built from random junk ceiling fan ,microwave oven transformer ,office chair, an old piece of a TV tower, and some random electrical stuff. The blades are also from an old ceiling fan .It is extended with some wood and fibreglass on it to make it stronger. A scrap piece of pipe is attached as a shaft to the hub of the turbine. An office chair frame which can move freely is welded to the pole/post of the turbine. This is welded to an old TV Tower. 4 magnets are glued on the hub. The frame of an old microwave oven transformer is cut .Its core is exposed and that is welded onto the brackets. The magnets pass over the transformer core and induction takes place creating electric current. We can use that current to charge a battery or to power lights or whatever. A multi transformer setup would generate more power. We hook up a rectifying diode to convert from AC to DC and some capacitors which can even out the voltage and give us direct current. Also a diode to block the current from the battery to go up back up to the generator. This set up can charge small batteries. A piece of sheet metal is welded onto the bracket of the ceiling fan. Four magnets are spaced apart and aligned along their respective poles in north-south directions and glued to the bracket using 2 part epoxy. To generate more wattage from the wind generator ,we use an old 120V DC lawnmower motor. Because we have multiple poles, we have magnets that are really close to the armature, this is a way better motor to use. The only downfall of this is that it has brushes, eventually it's the brushes are going to wear out, you probably get a few years out of it before you need to replace those. This motor would probably put out about 100 watts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k8aHz6xlXg
    • Cool DIY Video : How to run a Gasoline Engine on Waste Vegetable oil / Used Motor oil .
This video shows a vegetable oil heavy fuel gasifier that I built in an attempt to fuel a gasoline engine with waste oil. Here i test this with an old lawnmower engine. In this video I use vegetable oil as fuel, but used motor oil should work as well. The other videos shows the build of a similar used motor oil gasifier that I built from an old fire extinguisher and some pipe. It works by pyrolysis. This one has an improved burner and sideways canister orientation.

    • How to build a Simple Homemade AC Air Cooler using an Old Juice Carton
This project goes over the build of simple and cheap homemade Air Cooler made out of an old juice carton and other simple items which can be bought from Home Depot. The whole setup is powered by solar energy . The cost to build this AC Cooler is only $8.50 The drink bottle was a dollar at the store. The PVC pipe about $1.50, the DC Fan was $4.99 and the square dowels was 98 cents. The materials you need for this project are : 1/2 gallon container 3/8 inch square wooden dowel 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe coupler threaded on one end 80mm case fan Solar Panel Ice cubes Take the 80mm fan and put it down on the side of the container. Cut the three eighth inch square dowel and cut them the width of the container. Glue the fan on to the dowels on both the sides and the middle ones. Take a pencil and mark around in a circle on the inside and using a small knife , cut out the circle from the carton. Place the PVC coupler against the container and mark a small circle around it and cut along it. Widen the hole using a sandpaper such that the pipe fits in there properly. Take out the fan and grab some pieces of ice cubes and put them into the carton through the hole and put the fan back on. The fan is hooked to a solar panel. The fan has only 100 milliamps 12V power. The opening of the juice carton can be used as drain pipe which be used to drain out the water as needed. Don't waste the water. Just drink it, put a glass under there. Now you can get a nice cold drink of water after a couple hours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnI7oXTzxbM
